Founded in 2020, Elle Seals Events specializes in wedding planning. We offer full and partial-service planning to meet the needs of our couples.
Here at ESE we emphasize design, creating one-of-a-kind experiences. From the moment you and your guests walk through the door until the last person leaves, we think through every detail and ensure it is executed to perfection.
Beyond wedding planning, ESE is also a floral design studio. Our ability to act as a florist for our couples sets us apart from other planners. We are able to see event designs through to completion by managing the floral design, execution, and everything in between.
Our team is made up of women passionate about the industry and bringing a couples' wedding-day vision to life. We believe wedding planning should be enjoyable and stress-free for our couples. Let us walk alongside you as we plan your once-in-a-lifetime celebration!

Owner, Creative Director, & Lead Floral Designer
Elle Seals
Born and raised in Omaha, Elle made her way back to Nebraska after graduating from the University of Arizona in 2013. Elle found herself in the event design industry by chance and immediately fell in love with all aspects of event planning, design, and production. She began her career at a local interior design + floral company before venturing out on her own in 2020. Elle's knowledge of design principals and floral provide a solid base for every event.
As lead floral designer, Elle has a passion for creating unique arrangements and installations. Elle finds ways to incorporate locally grown or foraged floral into almost every wedding design.
She's a people person and phenomenal listener, taking the time to get to know couples so their personality shines through on the wedding day. We love her eye for design, laidback spirit, and hint of edginess (and know you will, too).
When she isn't planning or producing events, you can find Elle spending time with her husband and three kids.
Event Manager
Shelby Bartels
The newest addition to the ESE team, Shelby came on board in November 2022. She is an Omaha native with 11+ years in the event industry. Her previous experience includes corporate events, trade shows, catering, and venue management. But wedding planning is by far her favorite aspect of the industry.
Shelby is an integral part of the design process, creating comprehensive design plans that touch on details big & small. She is passionate about guest experience and thinks through aspects of each wedding with attendees in mind.
In her free time she spends time with her 2 young children, teaches barre classes, plays fantasy football, and enjoys reading.
Event Manager
Ellie McDonnell
Ellie has been with ESE from the start, joining the team in May 2020 shortly after graduating from the University of Nebraska Kearney with a degree in Recreation & Event Management.
Ellie specializes in event logistics, making sure all our weddings are executed flawlessly. She’s also discovered a passion for floral design and serves a key role in executing floral arrangements for our clients. Her ability to problem solve on the fly is priceless, as is her ability to make us laugh. She is a free-spirit whose sense of calm and ease translates to a stress-free experience for couples and their families.
When she’s not busy managing day-of stationery or updating timelines, you might find Ellie playing volleyball, rollerblading, or testing out a new recipe.
